Who we are
Begin Within is a private counselling and coaching practice founded by Afra and Laura, operating primarily in the Netherlands with clients across the EU and UAE.
What we collect
Contact details, intake notes, session notes, correspondence, and basic anonymous analytics from this website (page views, referrers). We never sell personal data.
Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of the counselling agreement we have with you. For enquiries, we process it on the basis of your consent when you send us a message.
Retention
Client records are kept for the period required by professional standards and Dutch law, after which they are securely destroyed.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing connect@begin-within.com.
Complaints
We are affiliated with the Dutch Healthcare Complaints Portal. You may also contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
